When we had our baby, we assumed finding good quality baby socks would be simple. We were wrong.
Every pair we picked up looked cute on the shelf—but fell short where it mattered. They slipped off constantly, lost shape after one wash, and were made almost entirely from synthetic materials like polyester. We were shocked to realize that most baby socks are basically plastic—the same stuff used in fast fashion, now marketed for the most delicate skin.
We couldn’t find socks we trusted. So, we made our own.
At Piggy’s, we set out to create the kind of baby sock we wished existed: one that’s gentle, breathable, and made from cleaner materials—not just for looks, but for your baby's everyday comfort and your peace of mind. We chose American-grown Supima® cotton for its softness, strength, and durability, and we reimagined the fit from the ground up: snug but not tight, seamless where it matters, with subtle grip and neutral tones that feel timeless.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe the important things start simple—and should be made with care. So we're on a Mission to Ditch the Plastic.
Most baby socks are made almost entirely of plastic-based fibers like polyester—materials that don’t breathe, break down, or belong on delicate skin. At Piggy’s, we believe everyday baby essentials should be clean, thoughtful, and built to last without relying on plastic.
That’s why we’ve committed to minimizing synthetic materials in our socks and are actively researching high-performance alternatives to replace polyester, nylon, and spandex in full—without compromising fit, durability, or comfort.
Our philosophy is simple: clean, gentle, breathable, and well-fitting socks should be the standard—not the exception. That’s why we craft ours from American-grown Supima® cotton, prized for its natural softness and strength, and thoughtfully design every detail—from seamless construction to secure ribbing and soft, stay-put grips.
Because when something wraps around your baby’s feet all day, it should do more than look cute.
It should feel right, fit right, and let their skin breathe.

But the reality is, many do not have access to this. In hospitals across the country, children go without basic comforts that can make all the difference during moments of uncertainty. That’s why, for every Piggy’s purchase, we donate a pair to a child in need.
We partner with children’s hospitals to ensure that our clean, comfortable, breathable, and thoughtfully designed socks reach the little ones who need them most. Because comfort shouldn’t be a privilege. And something as small as a sock can offer warmth, support, and a sense of home.
